Come Alive

Good morning world So good to be alive

The sun is up with dark clouds in the sky

Time to rise n shine as I start to jive

With dogs around my feet n cats nearby

Now n then I feel your presence nearby

Time to slow down from the fast jive

I seek your face as I stare into the sky

As my eyes I close the memories come alive

I think to myself I am truly alive

I don't need money to simply thrive

Somewhere over the Rainbow bluebirds fly

Without some fantasy we won't survive

As we stand alone in life we still survive

Time once so slow now on wings does fly

Wondering what is the reason to thrive
