Bits of my heart with them died

That day they suddenly left my side

As my light goes out bit by bit

Through my memory they all flit

I would rather have them to hold

But it's impossible so I am told

I say to those who were left alive

There is a reason we did survive

We have this role left to play

So please just take it day by day

Sometimes we have no clue why

Just take a step, let's give it a try
