Why is the road so long?

Why has it got so dark?

It seems as if all has gone wrong!

Do you mind if I just park?

Why can't I just make a U turn?

Why oh why can I not go back?

To travel the bridges I didn't burn

Or should I go off the beaten track?

The choice is all mine to make

Confusion in this mind does reign

Such a huge decision to take

To get away from all this pain

But its time to make a stand

Time to find and fix the real me

So over to the past, the past I hand

As I step into a future I can barely see.
